How to Respond If Your Child Talk Back Or Say No

by Jamie Sullivan · 0 comments

Parents have to take time to understand why children act as they do. Most kids learn behavior from imitating their parents or whom ever they are in contact with the most. So watch your tone and your language.

STEP 1 – Problem Talking Back and Saying “No“. Reason: because children want to be in control. They’re learning independence!

STEP 2 – Avoid yes or no question in stressful situations. When possible offer choices so your child can make decisions.

STEP 3 – Talk about being respectful to each other and other people as well.
